Looking for a king sized mattress. Looking at all price ranges; just trying to find the best value. Thanks!!!

Do people ever search the old threads about mattresses before posting? This question comes up all the time and gets the same answers. Anyway, for value, I love my Lumina luxury firm mattress from Urban Mattress in Vienna, VA. If price were no object, I'd get one of the Vispring mattresses also from Urban Mattress.

We bought a Purple Mattress with an adjustable base from Costco. It took a few nights of adjusting, but we are both loving it now. We got a split King (two twin XL), but if you don't want the adjustable base, no reason to do that. You can also do a king and run the adjustable bases together, you both just have to be in the same position.

DH is very fit but has back issues and needs to sleep in a zero gravity type position. He'd been sleeping on this wedge system on top of our mattress.

I'm really happy with the purple mattress too. It is very different than anything else I've felt. Soft to the touch but quite firm/supportive when laying on ir. My back hurt for a few days while adjusting but feels awesome now.

I wouldn't buy from a store. The 100 night no hassle refund policy of all the online mattress companies is unbeatable. You can't tell from 20 minutes laying on it in a store if it is for you. Casper, Tuft and Needle, Helix, Leena, etc are all in the same class. It was hard to decide but ultimately Purple was the most different (not just memory foam), so we decided to start there and move to other brands if this didn't work. Glad we did that.
