Has anyone taken gonal-f?

If so, what is the amount you took and for how many days at a time.

I started taking 225 units, which was later increased to 300. I have been on it for 9 days and will be on it for 2-3 mor edays. I also took 75-150 units of Menopur.

I started on 225 and ended up on 450. Also on 150 of menopur. Stimmed for 11 days.
That is a lot of medication!

I was either over-supressed due to lupron or am turning into a poor responder (at age 34).

However, ended up getting pregnant with a single blast transfer.

I have PCOS so my doctor intentionally stimulated me at a low rate for a long time, to prevent over-stimulation (which I ended up with anyway). I believe I started at 75 combined with 75 of menopur. I stimulated for 2-3 weeks (can't remember exactly), I believe near the end I was at 225 g-f and 150 menopur.

It worked, I'm 21 pregnant with twins!

What procedure are you doing? I took gonal-f with clomid for IUI. I only took the gonal-f at a level of 75iu on two nights. I did follistim for my IVF, but at a higher dose. Follistim and Gonal-F are the exact same thing with different brand names. You can interchange them.

OP here, I should have been more specific. I am doing IUI.

I was on gonal 150iu for IUI and was a success.
