| Since I learned this recipe, it's the only way I make salmon. https://food52.com/recipes/37487-sally-schneider-s-slow-roasted-salmon-or-other-fish |

Easy but will require fiddling. |
Do not try it with white whole wheat flour unless you want a big hockey puck. |
Agreed, also doesn't seem to have much flavor but super easy. I like these cans of Thai curry paste- stir fry vegs and or meat and dump it and there's dinner. Very good. You can get them for $1 at any international grocery store. One can cAn Make a meal for four or more. There are a lot of different flavors my favorites are the green and red curries. http://www.efooddepot.com/products/maesri/2838/maesri-curry-paste-(green-curry)--hy--4oz.html |
| These brownies are so easy (one bowl, no mixer), always turn out perfectly, simple to adjust (add-ins, extracts) for different flavors, and I always have the ingredients on hand, so I can whip them up w/in a half hour of finding out I need them for company or an event. http://www.food.com/recipe/moms-cocoa-powder-brownies-243900 |

Jaime Oliver's Chicken in Milk. Sounds weird, but it's pretty damn amazing. I like to throw in some halved baby potatoes with it too.

I've posted this several times before. I love this recipe for whenever I have to throw together food for dinner guests at the last minute. I add frozen peeled, deveined shrimp to it.

This Cracker Barrel copycat hash brown casserole is like crack at any potluck, and everyone will hound me and ask for the recipe as if I'm some sort of culinary genius. Tip: I always leave it longer in the oven, until the edges are nice and browned and crispy. I also use Colby Jack cheese instead of cheddar.

Went vegan for lent this year and came across this site: thegreekvegan.com
I have not tried a single one of her recipes that wasn't delicious and simple. And I love how they are all traditional Greek dishes that let veggies and grains speak for themselves (rather than acting as weak substitutes for typically meat-centric dishes). And I lost 15 pounds (most of which I've gained back thanks to summer bbq's and beers). |
