Recommendation for in-home daycare in NW DC or SS/TP?

We are looking for in-home care for our (then-to-be) 17-month-old daughter beginning around the middle of August. Can anyone recommend a good provider in NW DC (especially Ward 4) or in close-in Silver Spring or Takoma Park?

My amazing provider, Laura of Happy Feet, will have a spot open around the end of June. Your daughter might be a bit young (I'm not sure whether she's looking for a child who's over 2), but you could always give her a call.

She's in Petworth, about a mile north of the metro--it seems to me she'd be convenient both to Silver Spring and Takoma Park.

We have also been sending our infant there for a few months now and I would HIGHLY recommend it. Laura is great and loves the children like her own.

Laura isnt taking any more infants at this time. Any other recommendations for in home daycares or even daycare centers in downtown Silver Spring or NW?? I need care at the end of August for my 4 month old baby boy.

Looking for a home daycare for our 3 year, 1 month old in NW or NE DC; we're traveling from Woodbridge and getting stuck in the traffic jams in the afternoon is a nightmare. Any suggestions?
