Johnson has said they will vote on it next week. Then, according to the NYTimes, it goes to the Senate - where they need 60 votes. Are there sixty votes?

Then, according to the NYTimes, it goes to the President, who will certainly veto it. Which means, now there needs to be a veto proof majority on both houses.

I just don’t see that it has a chance.

I don’t know, I think that some of the Republicans are seeing the writing of the wall.

If it makes it to Trump’s desk and he vetos it all hell is going to break loose. Also, I believe he either has to pardon Maxwell or her people are threatening to release incontrovertible and damning information on him that he can’t weasel out of. Either way all hell will break loose. The walls are closing in on him, hence the situation room.

This is one of the weirdest parts about this all. Some of the worst people in the country have been provided the opportunity to redeem themselves in the eyes of the public by simply doing the right thing for once in their lives.
