So no herd immunity yet. Try again next time. |
“Liberate!” Is he trying to liberate the morons from their lives? |
Maybe fake news but o read that she told him to go back to China. Sounds almost too cartoonish to be true. |
| As the Post article today says, people’s fear will be a huge factor regarding reopening. |
|
Ultimately, this is about respect for our neighbors enough to follow the rules and not dance around draped in a US flag demanding their “freedom.”
What this is telling me is that a small portion of the United States has no respect at all, for their fellow men and women. |
| Reopening right now is like not finishing your antibiotics because you’re starting to feel a little better. |
It’s more like you want to quit on day 2 of a 10 day course of treatment. |
Not sure what you mean. I’m not in Sweden and I don’t support their policy. |
We won't get back to "normal" until we have herd immunity. |
And it's telling me that they are beyond stupid. Their "protests" don't even make sense. |
I am seeing some good signs in the Facebook group I am in with other nurses and healthcare workers. The group contains some hardcore Trumpers who often post about "BLM terrorists" and how "illegals" are bankrupting the country. But these people are seriously pissed at Trump now for not taking the pandemic seriously (like his totally irresponsible "Liberate Michigan" tweet). Somehow I think Trump will bring them back into the cult by the November elections, but I am hopeful that we are making a dent into Trump's base. |
| Only to the 35% |
| Standing in the middle of the road is not a "peaceful protest" |
The guy is standing in the crosswalk during the "walk" sign while the cars have the red light. He's allowed to be there. He's not saying anything. Zilch. How do you know he's protesting? He could just be standing in the crosswalk and that's allowed. Looks quite peaceful to me. |
