Coaching staff at Visi

Anonymous
You all only wish you had two dads as accomplished as they are coaching your teams. Let me check......do any of your coaches have NC or ND 4 year playing experience, USA or professional lacrosse playing experience, many years of coaching experience and a good rapport with their teams? Hmmmm.

So much focus on this can only mean you all are insecure about the upcoming season. Personally, I am excited and can't wait for the girls to have fun representing their schools playing a sport they are passionate about.

Let it be. The coaches mean nothing to the recruiting process and any incoming /prospective Visi players should be psyched about being there.

2 dads with jobs = 1 coach

Percentage of HS lacrosse coaches who work has to be approaching 100%.

That wasn't the point. The point is that the "dad (S)" are beyond qualified - and more qualified than many head coaches in WCAC and ISL. Perhaps it isn't ideal but it's not the worst thing ever.

These hires are great for Visi, and worst case scenario for their opponents, especially the weaker teams who likely won’t benefit from Bucky’s mercy.

If you want Dad coaches-you want these 2. They are dedicated and professional and know the GAME.

SR....get ready.....

No dog in the fight but this sounds like a good result.

Would someone mind naming them and describe their backgrounds’ relevant to coaching?

Hope they get everything settled. We had strong recommendations on the school from alumnae, parents, and lacrosse people, but it's December this week and no idea who will coach.

This is too bad for your daughter! The program is going to do just fine. You ve really done your daughter an mis service. Visi has an unbelievable network, hundreds of years of history and traditions, excellent college prep, beautiful campus and caring teachers with high expectations.

No thank you. We will continue to celebrate having our female coaches/role models for our girls. No offense to these two accomplished dad coaches - I am sure they are wonderful human beings. But it’s 2024 and I am amazed that Visi, an all girl high school cannot seem to find accomplished female coaches for girls lacrosse. What message are you guys sending to your daughters?

This has to be a troll post but assuming you are just stupid, the message is that these are extraordinarily qualified coaches with great track records to be leading these girls. Men, as well as women, can be great leaders of girls. But you knew that.
