So just finished in a semi-binge watch the last season of GoT and a good book to boot, Guernsey Literary and potato peel pie society. Bereft and afraid I'm entering the seven stages of grief. Any good suggestions for lighter fare (TV, book, etc.) that still is diverting and well-done and dare I say offers a bit of lift in these dark times? (I wouldn't usually say GoT remotely fits this bill - except for the last season...) Nothing too treacly or woman-in-danger. Escapism is fine though I'm not necessarily looking for more dragons. I'm trying to think of other books that I have read that fit this description - the last two books I've read that I liked were the Argonauts and the Beautiful Bureaucrat but neither really hit this mark. (Although you could argue both were hopeful in their weird ways...)
