Can anyone share any thoughts about this school? |
i toured this co-op, it's in bethesda/potomac area, i wasnt all that impressed as most co=op's welcome and encourage your pre-schooler to join you on the tour, i always like to see how they interact with my son and how he liked the place, for suburban, this was clearly a "no=no", also felt teachers were a bit cold and parents werent that friendly..again, only my impression from a brief tour, but i did cross it off the list...you should hear from someone who's child is there as i'm sure they'd have positive things to say, it is a popular one among co=ops.. |
I don't have a child there, but do have one at Apple Montessori which shares the same building and play area. On several occasions I was with my son on the playground and the Suburban teachers/parent aides told my son that he was not allowed to play in their sandbox and pointed us in the direction of "our" sandbox. If it wasn't so petty and ridiculous I would have laughed at how stupid they sounded as they told me this. |
To the 14:42 poster - what other schools did you look at? have you decided on one? i'm still deciding between several and am curious about opinions of other schools in the area. |
