Saggy, poochy mommy in need of a swimsuit--suggestions?

I am a mother of 2 and a chronic pool-avoider!

But I'll soon be obligated to do beach and pool this summer.

Where can I find a decent looking suit (i.e. no Fort Lauderdale granny suit) that helps suck in the poochy tummy and hold up the saggy pancake post-nursing breasts? I know I won't look like Claudia Schiffer, but at least maybe Star Jones after her gastric bypass.

Oh, and I cannot spend $200.

Any suggestions are welcome.

j crew has some cute one piece suits - and land's end always has a big variety. also, lord & taylor or bloomingdales if you want to try on - they always have a good variety

Miraclesuit makes suits that have some kind of tummy control in them. The lining is heavier and tighter, but the fabric you see on the outside is normal so it doesn't give you that sausage-stuffed-in-casing look. They make "normal" looking suits with legs that have regular rises (2-3" I think?). They are actually quite comfy because everything is held together. I think they may be above the $100 mark, but not $200.

I've had two children, have giant boobs and gravity has not been kind to me. Buying a swimsuit is one of my most hated shopping ordeals. I usually go to Lord & Taylor at the end of the season when they have their suits at 75% off. You should at least go try some on. If you find a brand and general style that looks good, go buy it on eBay.

I think the brand I have is Gottex. It was originally like $150, but I paid less than $50. They are nice that they hold everything up and in and don't look like something my grandmother would wear. I've had it for 4 years, it has not faded and the elastic is as good as the day I bought it. I would have paid more for it if I knew it would save me from buying another suit for so long.

Definitely go to Lands End - Under $100 - on the website you can put in your measurements and it will show you how the suit will look on you. It was remarkably accurate, and I love my new suit. - My husband likes it, too

Lands end has all kinds of suits that hold this, push up that.... little black dress with a skirt on it is my favorite.

Lands End. They have a really cute one with ruching on the side that I got. Very flattering. Hides the tummy. Lots of bottoms to choose from.
