Anyone see psychiatry at Kennedy Krieger?

Hi,
I waited a few months to see a psychiatrist at KKI. It was a strange experience. The psychiatrist could not understand why we came "all the way to Baltimore" since we live in MoCo. She had no idea what to do with us. She was utterly paralyzed by our location and could not recommend a next step. In the end, she told us to find someone to get our kid's behavior under control and that, after about 6 months of that, we should find a psychiatrist closer. She also put us on the 9 month wait list for an ADOS but MoCo got to it sooner for free. |

| We go to kki regularly from moco - it's really not that far!! |

| PP- Do you go on the weekends? I work FT and wouldn't be able to go regularly to KKI unless they had weekend appts. |
