| Where can I buy a great bra (and get fitted) for a bra that makes me look at least 2 sizes bigger? After breastfeeding, my breasts are non existent. It is very sad. |
| i use these super padded maidenform ones. i like them. |
| Resurrecting this thread rather than starting a new one. Any other suggestions for post-breastfeeding sagging fried eggs? |

Victoria's Secret is known for their push-up bras - and the prices are right, too. Not that they are inexpensive.....
Instead of going for padding, which will end up lumpy after washing, get the ones where you insert "cutlets" into the bra - either separate pieces of padding, water - or even air that is pumped in. Have you finished breastfeeding? I wouldn't go in to be fitted unless you stopped at least 6 weeks ago. If less than that, the breasts are still changing in size. |
| Thanks for these tips. I actually finished breastfeeding a year ago but just finally reached my pre-baby weight and basically lost the last vestiges of normal boobs. Soooo depressing. There's nothing left to keep my bras from sliding up so it's either straps too loose or pulling bras down every five minutes. It's driving me crazy. |
| I Live in NOVA and I went to Treasseau in Vienna to get fitted. They have very pretty things. I also used my measurements to get some things on fredericks.com. Just mailed back what didn't work for me. |
| OP - don't worry. A professionally fitted bra will make you look and feel great again. |

same thing happened to me. I was a size B before the pregnancy (and a full B during it) but now I'm an A. It sucks to be 37 and an A, the same size I was when I was about 14.
Calvin Klein has a nice pushup that doesn't necessarily make you look 2 sizes bigger, but it does have good padding and it has a very smooth line so it looks great under knits. Macy's carries them for about $39 and they're on sale now. http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=182591&CategoryID=39987 |
I also went to Trousseau in Vienna to get fitted and I went from a 36C to a 34DD! They are very nice there and once you get fitted professionally, you can buy bras online. I also had good luck at Nordstrom in Pentagon City. As for bras, I LOVE the La Mystere brand. They are padded, but more feminine with lace, etc. I feel like sometimes the padded bras are so boring (at least my DH seems to think so!).

Bras from Victoria's Secrets do indeed work. I purchased one by accident (young and stupid - when I actually had perky boobs) and caused quite a stir at work.
I imagine they'd perform miracles with pancake breasts, too - such as the ones I now have after two kids. |
