Has anyone tried calling the school? I assume someone must be working over there but probably not the teachers of the math department.

| That's really strange. You all should have definitely heard by now. My child entered 9th grade there last year. I think we heard by July 1. |

I called today and the person I spoke with told me that they hope to mail the letters Wednesday. There was a holdup in the testing office. Flowers HS got the test a full month after ERHS, and they used to all get it at the same time.

Well there's a meeting tonight at the school for new 9th graders.... I was hoping to have that test information by now! Also schedule info -- like what language they got. Everything's still down! |

OK, the letter finally came today.
Anyone surprised by the results? My son was definitely expecting to be placed in Algebra II/Trig but scores only supported Algebra II. He's still way ahead of where I was at that age so I don't care, but he has always been a very good math students so I just wondered. |

I was a *little* surprised, but not a lot. DS's final middle school math class was a bit of a mess with personnel changes, and I am in complete agreement that it's better to really master the foundations needed than flounder. |
