| Can't I have at least one cup of coffee?? |
| Yes. A small cup. |
| Sure - why not? |
| Yes |
| yes |
Yes, just stay under 200mg of caffeine per day. That's even okay during pregnancy. Seriously, do what you need to so you can keep yourself sane. You are going through a lot. Take care of yourself. |
| Yup, before and after transfer and throughout pregnancy! |
| My dr's office said 200mg caffeine during stims is fine, but after that -- none is preferred and recommended. And, really, I wouldn't do it...I don't need yet another factor to question when results are not as desired. |

Yes. But not a lot. Just one cup a day over 4 IVF and 3 IUIs.
Anecdotally: that includes the cycle I got pregnant but later miscarriaged. (And coffee had NOTHING to do with it, chromosomal abnormalities did.) The cycle I switched to decaf, I had a PGS normal embryo and BFN. |
| I didn't. My RE said something to me about treating myself to a latte after my retrieval since I wouldn't be able to drink it after they implanted later that week. Had she not said that I would have drank (a little) coffee after the transfer. |
SG says no caffeine during the entire pregnancy. Seems a bit draconian to me. If my pregnancy is so fragile that a cup of coffee will do it in then count me out. |
| I drank caffeine throughout my treatment and pregnancy. |
I don't think you should say SG. My RE from SG said it is fine to drink coffee during pregnancy and I did. |
This is what the SG website says. |
