| Is it unreasonable to expect that they won't text/otherwise be occupied by their phone at all while they're here? I use TaskRabbit and one of the taskers I used was texting throughout the time they were cleaning. I have a small house so cleaning only takes about 2 hours, for what that's worth. I just hate when I'm paying someone at an hourly rate and they're looking at their phone every few minutes. |
| Reasonable, but they should be able to check texts quickly once in a while. |
| Theyvshoukd clean. If necessary to check texts or answer phone, then they go off the clock while on the phone. |
| Can you calculate how long they were occupied by their phone and request that you be reimbursed per minute spent not cleaning? The whole being on phones constantly while at work really pisses me off. |
| One of the Taskrabbit taskers told me once that they get penalized if they don't respond to a task request within a certain amount of time, even if they are on a job. (I can't remember what the penalty was, something like they get moved down the list of recommended taskers). |
| Only cheap people use task rabbit for cleaners |
Wow. I clean my house myself and only need to hire a cleaner every few months for a deeper clean. It makes more sense to use TaskRabbit than a cleaning service given how infrequently I need help. |

How much is a clean using Task Rabbit?
I too would prefer a monthly clean but the charge for that seems so much more than for twice a month. I also don't like the idea of cleaners only doing x to fit into a certain time - i want them to clean until they are finished & charge for that. |
I've paid between $25-$35 per hour. |
