Yes, it does happen that you don't ovulate on clomid 50mg but ovulate on clomid 100mg, it happened to a friend of mine, she even got pregnant on 100mg. As for me, I ovulated on clomid 50mg but ovulated late and did not get pregnant, whereas I did get pregnant on clomid 100mg. Clomid 50mg is a very low dose, lots of women need higher doses. As a matter of fact, some doctors don't even bother prescribing 50mg, they go straight to prescribing 100mg (that's standard practice in Canada). Don't be bummed, it's a long process to find out what medication and what dosage is right for you, it's a long process to get pregnant. Be patient, it will happen.
