bra with clear straps

I hate wearing strapless bras, but the bras that I've tried with clear straps are so uncomfortable! The straps aren't as soft as my normal straps....I feel like I can't move around as well.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Ugh, these are so tacky. Right up there with toeless stockings in my opinion -- both look just plain weird and aren't fooling anyone. Try finding a strapless bra without underwire, shirts/dresses with little keepers that snap around your bra straps to keep them in place and/or buying things with built-in support.

built in support isn't enough for me....I'm a full C to small D cup.

The problem is finding a bra that works with my clothes I already own....some strapless dresses, shirts with thin straps, etc.

Any suggestions for where I could find a strapless bra without underwire?

Strapless bra without underwire will not help you. Go to a good bra shop (Full Cup, Trousseau, Sylene, Dor-Ne Corset Shop) and get a longline bra (goes down to your waist) for the strapless dresses. Pitch the spaghetti-strap tops - they don't look right on those of us who are well-endowed.
