| SO I helped out in Field day for my 14 year old DD. She is going to 9th grade next year, so I deiced to take a day of work and help out doing field day. The kids were having races. the winner gets a ticket. About 10% of the kids who lost also wanted a ticket because they had fun. I am AA so we are not used to giving everyone a price. Even tho I am not used to give everyone a price if I didn't know the kid I give them a ticket for "trying" is it normal for kids who don't win still get a reward? School is 80% white so is it a white people thing? No offense. just wondering |

Really? No black kid would ever whine for a ticket if he saw other kids getting one?
Sorry, don't buy it. All kids ask for things. It's up to you to give it to them or say "no." |

Your post is confusing, but all you have to so is stand by the rules and use your common sense. No winning, no ticket. Period. Today's youth are incredibly entitled - they will always want everything they can wheedle or demand out of you. Don't give in. |
| Yes, it is a white people thing. It is crazy and should be stopped. Yes, I'm white. |
