Therapist for HFA in Alexandria?

Please recommend your fabulous therapist that specializes in young teens with a diagnosis of HFA (formerly known as Aspergers) or child with nonverbal learning disability characteristics. Can be oppositional and angry and need a super skilled therapist located in Alexandria.

OP, I would call SN schools that specialize in ASD, like Auburn or Ivymount for recommendations. Both these schools have high schools, so what you're describing wouldn't be new to them.

I'm just curious. Did you find this type of therapist in Alexandria? I'm looking for one for my 12 year old daughter who seems HF Autistic but not diagnosed, yet (Kaiser which is our insurance would not do a full evaluation, unfortunately.). Thank you!
