Tomorrow or the following Monday is the last day of school for pretty all PG County students. Are you guys giving cards and/or gifts? If so, what are you giving? I need some ideas!

I am considering a $20 - $50 prepaid Visa card, or maybe a Wal-Mart card (if one is in your area). The gift says "You have been a great teacher for my child. Not only do you deserve a summer break from herding cats all year, here is a little something in appreciation for your hard work."

I don't quite get the herding cats part, but I love everything else. Thanks for the suggestion! Anyone else?

I've done cash for Christmas, Target gift cards for Teacher Appreciation, so I kept it light and just did flowers and a card w/ a pic of my littles for the end of the year.

Middle school parent here. There is one awesome teacher I particular who really helped turn something around this year who is getting a note and a gift card.

Pp here. This teacher is also getting cc'd on a praise-heavy email to the principal.
