Baby Moon from DC

My wife and I recently took a "baby moon" that was close to the DC area and affordable that I wrote a blog post about: http://babyfriendlydc.com/2016/06/dcbabymoon/

Are there other places/trips people would recommend as friends are always looking for new adventures for parents who are expecting soon?

Just curious where did this awful term come from "baby moon" Why not just call it a vacation? Yes, I get it is before the baby is born but really any vacation can be a 'baby moon' if you don't have a baby.

My suggestion would be just go somewhere you want to visit. Wish the term would go away but, I know that is not happening.

OP, great article about St. Michaels. For places near DC, we like Charlottesville a lot.

The term Babymoon went out like a few years ago. Most overly used term ever and people simply laugh behind your back at the term. It's a vacation for gods sake. Stop acting like your the only people expecting a baby.
