| We're traveling to NYC for our daughter's birthday. She wants to see a broadway show that night which we've reserved, and we want to go so somewhere great for her birthday dinner. Any suggestions? |
| Uncle Jacks is fun for a NYC steakhouse experience. It's probably not the best place out there but it's reasonably priced and close to the broadway theaters. We've gone there for my husband's bday a couple times. |

Jean Georges, hands down.
The restaurant has 2 parts, Nougatine, the front is more casual. The back is the serious restaurant - you will need to dress up. Both are exceptional. Right in the Int'l Trump Hotel at corner of Central Park at Columbus Circle. If you tell them about the b-day, they will do something special. |
| Anyone ever been to The View in the Marriott Marquis? |
God no. Just no. |
| Scarpetta. North end grill. |
Food is ehhh. We went right around sunset and the view is great! |
| Stanton Social. Is a shlep from Times Square but perfect for the occasion. |
| The rooftop restaurant at the Yale Club is wonderful. I am not sure you can get a reservation without reciprocal or regular membership though. Might be worth a try? |
This is a good suggestion. |
A 16 year old doesn't want to eat at the Yale club. Fwiw I've been there |
| Olive Garden Times Square. |
This. |
Lol. |
It's a good idea: close to Broadway, and appropriate for a 16 year old. |
