Recommendation for ADD screening for my daughter

I need a recommendation for a doctor that screens for ADD in the DMV. Her school wants her evaluated.

OP if you post this on the SN board you'll get a ton of hits. that said, I have a few recommendations for you:

-Adele Green with Stixrud

- Jody Bleiberg - she has a solo practice in Bethesda

There are many other good ones.

Is she in public b/c they can test her.

Bad idea. Only rely on the school if you cant afford to pay private, which will run you between $3K-$4K, and is not covered by insurance.

Schools have no idea what they're looking at with "evaluating" for ADHD.

Schools have no idea what they're looking at with "evaluating" for ADHD.

Some of the private evaluation may be covered by insurance. Ours was. It depends on the billing and diagnostic codes.
