An interfaith prayer service will be held at t First Congregational UCC Church at 945 G St NW

It is co-hosted by the Mayor's Interfaith Council, Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, and the Jewish Community of Greater Washington.

This is an opportunity to come together in solidarity, heal, pray, and call fora action. All are invited.

when is the service being held?

Sorry for the late response. It was at 6:30.

Beautiful service with music from the Gay Men's Chorus, amazing words from a Rabbi, Imam, UCC Pastor, and HRC leader, as well as the Mayor, who spoke without any notes words both of solidarity and unity, as well as her willingness to do everything to end gun violence.

All were welcome. Candles were lit. We shall overcome was sung together.

May we move forward as a community together.
