My question is: Is the LH surge only strong enough to release one follicle if there is more than one that is mature? If not, how many mature follicles can be release on a natural LH surge? I've done some googling and just can't seem to find any info on this. |

The LH surge should release any mature follicles. The Ovidrel (for those who ovulate naturally) is an insurance policy or a way to help time the IUI more carefully. Timing is really, really important with IUI as washed sperm don't live as long as unwashed. |
