Sizing for Zara kids clothes

Anonymous
Can anyone tell me about the fit of Zara's children's clothing? I have a 3 year old who is long and lean, so I don't know whether to go for the 2-3 year old size or go up to a 4 year old size. I haven't purchased from here before. Thanks.

I'm not sure about the 2-3 size, but 9-12 and 12-18, we've found the clothes to be bigger than usual (our son is also long and leanish). They have adjustable waistbands on the pants, which helps. He's 15 months old, and he's still wearing their 9-12 month old jeans

I was going to say that i think their clothes run a bit small, but I only have a few items so maybe they were exceptions? FWIw, my kids are also long and lean.

I think they run small too.

I think they run small, as well. My kid is in 18 mo clothes and have found them to be tight. He is in 75 percentile for height and weight.

I'm 12:31, my kid is 90% height and 30% weight FWIW. Maybe we just like the clothes snug

My 3 year old was in 3-4 when he had just turned 3. Now that he's a few months shy of 4 he's in 5s (which are are a little big) for shorts and some 6s for tshirts. He's tall though. Long and lean

Depends on the item, but I'd say they're truer to size than many brands--with some running larger than others. My son is 5.5, skinny, and this summer wearing a 5 in Zara. At H&M, he can wear a 3-4 or 4-5 or a 4-6 depending on the item.

Ot, but if you avoid Op, don't buy anything from Zara because they practice child labor to manufacture their clothes.
