Kiawah Island SC

We will be traveling to Kiawah the first week of September. Kids will be almost 2 and almost 4. Any tips on places to see, beaches, playgrounds, restaurants, etc.? We are renting a house a block from the beach and I found a rental place for a crib, beach wagon, toys, etc. Thanks!

I stayed at The Sanctuary and it is sooooo beautiful and worth a visit if only for the spa and the restaurants. Not sure if you can use the pool as a non guest but they have a beautiful infinity edge pool there. Charleston is also 45 minutes away and is worth it for the history and beauty.

only people that stay at the Sanctuary can use that pool.
But all Kiawah guests can use the Night Heron Pool, and Kamp Kiawah (starts at age 3)
great playground at Night heron
Rent bikes (google Kiawah bike rentals and lots come up) -- most of them have trailers and kid seats available too
Movies at the Kiawah market commons -- live music (Tuesday evenings I think) on the market commons lawn

You can only use the Night Huron Park pool if you are renting from Kiawah Island Resort rentals, not the other agencies.
