| Six months after being diagnosed with cancer, we put him to sleep this morning. Our kids are devastated (8 and 6) and it's just so unreal even though we knew it was coming. Ugh. That's all. Just sharing with likeminded dog-loving folks that understand. |
I'm so sorry, OP.
|
| So sorry. The first few days are the worst. Hugs. |
| So sorry for your family's loss! Dogs fit so much love into their short lives. |
Oh no! So sorry for your family's loss.
|
| So sorry OP hang in there. |
|
Lost my dog to hemangiosarcoma in January. Still cry pretty much once a day at some point. I felt like a piece of my world left me.
Hugs to you, because most people will say "Sorry about your dog." But, really you are suffering terribly. |
| I'm so sorry for the loss of your dog. Dogs lives are far too short, but I know he loved your family with all that he had. |
| So sorry. I know he brought you and your family so much joy. |
| I'm so sorry, OP. Sending you virtual hugs. |
| OP, I'm so very sorry. Dogs bring their families such joy and love. Wish they could stay with us longer. |
| I am so sorry OP. I went through the same thing 6 weeks ago. It still hurts but it's not as intense as the first few weeks. I will say that if you or your partner do any working from home, the first few times alone are disconcerting. If you can, work froma cafe or something. My dog would snore away the day on the couch and I missed that alot. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts |
| No words, just virtual hugs, OP. |
| Hugs OP. It gets easier with time but you never stop missing them. |
| Sympathies, OP. You all have lost a family member, and it's hard and sad. Hugs. |
