| DH and I are going to spend a weekend in Philadelphia. Any recommendations for bed and breakfast or restaurants? We are going to the Barnes museum; other must sees? |

It's a big city. What do you enjoy? If you like art, perhaps the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Restaurants that are BYOB are a big Philly thing - make a reservation.
NY Times just did a 36 Hours in Philadelphia article with a lot of good recs: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/05/26/travel/what-to-do-36-hours-in-philadelphia.html |

Philly for couples: Rittenhouse Square has a lot of nice restaurants. (And homeless in the actual Square!) We ate dinner at a place in the Italian market that seemed pretty unique. And we had a cheesesteak at Pat's, which I didn't think I'd like, but really did! That Pat is onto something!
Visit the Rodin museum for the sculptures. Museums there cost a lot for us folks used to paying Smithsonian prices! |
| I've done two day trips there with my DH to check out exhibits at the museums - see what the current exhibits are! We stumbled upon Taqila's (locust street, I think) the first time and went back the next time. It's an upscale Mexican restaurant. Of course we are outside once and in a larger dining room once, so it wasn't until I made reservations / took my boss there that I discovered some tables have white table cloths and a kind of intimate feel. Oops!! |
| I liked eating at Zahav. |

I would take a long walk along Kelly drive, it's very beautiful at night. You could start out at the art museum and make your way there.
A lot of awesome restaurants in East Passyunk, South Philly. A few that come to mind off the top of my head- Stateside, Noord, Brigantessa, Le Virtu, Townsend, Fond, Birra. |
