Nats game with kids

Anonymous
Anyone been recently who can tell me if the Sony Pavilion and playground are still there? Anything else fun to do with young kids, who will likely last only a few innings of actual baseball?

I'm sure the playground is still there. get ice cream and let the kids bring books or other diversions if you don't think they'll last all game. or just stay a few innings and leave

The playground is still there. The Sony pavilion is not. You may be able to spend an inning or two browsing the team store.

Buy cheap seats, then walk around to view that game from different locations. The park has a lot of great standing room areas you can take in the game from. Show up just before first pitch so you don't waste a ton of time before the game. There's a covered picnic area behind the 140s seating sections (although often in use by groups before games, but open to anyone during the game) if you need a shaded break. good place to eat, no worries about having to balance food in your seats.
