Heading to the bookstore to pick up a few summer beach reading books. My tastes and interests are eclectic. Just curious what you DCUMs are considering to be your must reads this summer. . .

I just read a piece of Beth's Blog, entitled "Summer Reading."
She's very good!

I like to choose somewhat light and entertaining books as my summer reads. The first three I have added to my list are the upcoming Jennifer Weiner - Best Friends Forever, the new Alice Hoffman - The Story Sisters and The Beach House by Jane Green.

I also love to read vintage trash during the summer and am looking forward to reading Valley of the Dolls and Peyton Place.

Both are excellent.

Agree with both these suggestions.

I just finished reading "Mighty Queens of Freeville" by Amy Dickinson (the Ask Amy columnist). It was freakin' hilarious and a light read. She's able to paint such a picture with words, mostly about her hilariously dysfunctional family.
