Artwork Studio B: Summer/Fall 2016 studio art camps and classes:

Since founding Artwork Studio B, an art school in McLean, Virginia, in 1996, I have focused on teaching a full spectrum of art methods classes. In these art classes students are taught to be keen observers. They are encouraged to recognize and incorporate artistic vision as they acquire skills and experiences with art concepts and media. My upcoming summer camp and fall class offerings range from drawing, painting, and mixed media to portfolio development and creative bookbinding. Summer sessions begin July 5. Before 1996, I taught studio art at the Fillmore Arts Center, a nationally recognized magnet art school in Washington, D.C., and directed the art department at Hunters Woods Magnet Art School in Reston, VA. I also taught drawing at the Corcoran School of Art. I have served as artist in residence at American University and as a design and art education instructor at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
