Our child just finished pre-k at a local independent school. She said that a lot of kids brought gifts for the teachers. I realize now that I should have done something but was traveling and it totally slipped my mind. The teachers are still around this week, so I could still bring something by. Should I give them gift cards? Is that tacky for professional teachers? Give me some ideas please!
If the year is over let it go. I think it is nice for the kids to give the teachers a card for example and a small gift. It is a nice way for the student to say thank you. It's not s competition. I wouldn't sweat it but I believe kids love handing over little gifts and homemade cards.
Give them a gift! They work so hard. I think a giftcard is perfect.
Teachers love and appreciate gift cards with a nice note. It's fine that it's late! You could even mail it.
Write a nice note. The best gift for a teacher is knowing his/her work is appreciated and noticed.
I do Amazon or target email gift cards. That way it happens instantly.
I write a thank-you note. I give a gift card and thank you note at Christmas, and I contribute to Teacher Appreciate Week, which was a couple of weeks ago. I think another gift is a little over the top, so I do a note instead.
