Weigh in on our list of boy names!

Anonymous
Naming our DD was easy, but DH and I have completely different tastes when it comes to boy names. Here are a few potential options that haven't been completely vetoed by one or the other of us- please give any thoughts or other suggestions. Thanks!

Daniel
Ethan
Logan
Hunter

Daniel is the best followed by Ethan.

Not crazy about Logan or Hunter. They sound like soap opera names.

I agree.

Me, too. Ethan sounds kinda Jewish to me, though I realize it's not necessarily a Jewish name. (I'm half-Jewish, so this is not meant as a negative statement, just my personal first-impression.). Daniel is the best on your list but I don't love Dan as a nickname, so I might keep looking.

I'm biased because our son is Daniel.

I like Ethan, I know one adult Jewish Ethan and one child Protestant Ethan

Don't like Logan, it's always felt a little tacky to me.

Hunter is fine.

I know several girl Logans, just FYI. Men too, but it seems a name that's possibly going to cross over.

Hunter is not my style, so I'm going to say Daniel or Ethan.

Daniel is great. Ethan is ok. Logan is not good. Hunter is terrible.

All are fine except Daniel. It's a nerd name.

Logan and Hunter seem too "TV" to me. Both make me think of Gilmore Girl type guilty pleasure TV.
Agree with pp that Ethan feels Jewish, though I'm not sure why. Daniel is my favorite of the names you posted.

This is going to sound bad, but Logan and Hunter feel like names that working/middle class people think rich people name their kids. I think that's why they feel tacky or soap opera-ish ad some people mentioned above.

Logan and Hunter sound like boys the Sweet Valley High twins swooned over. I'm not sure if they were actual characters, but they should have been.

My preference, favorite to least favorite, is the same as the order you listed:
1. Daniel
2. Ethan
3. Logan
4. Hunter

I like Ethan the best. Logan and Daniel are ok (I would probably like Daniel better if it wasn't my BIL's name--the guy has issues).

Hunter is just bad--DD wants to name our dog Hunter and I can't do it.

Ethan or Daniel definitely
