Infants, Toddlers, & Preschoolers
I'm fortunate to have a really thoughtful neighbor that has been giving me tons of baby items that she used with her children for my newborn son. I don't know her terribly well since we're relatively new to the neighborhood, but I'd like to get her something to show my appreciation. Any suggestions?
I always go with food items for people I don't know well. I gave my neighbors some really high-quality chocolate at Christmas as a "sorry for all the screaming" present.
Flowers or a low-maintenance plant might be nice. Ditto a nice bottle of wine or champagne.
I gave my new pregnant neighbor lots of baby things including a crib, she gave me a $100 gift cert. to our neighborhood coffee/sandwich shop. I did not expect or want anything, but I thought it was a great gift.

If you know she loves Starbucks, a $50 (or whatever you want to spend) Starbucks card would rock my world.
If you don't want to spend too much, it's always nice to give homemade baked goodies (banana bread, brownies, cake....whatever you're good at). Or pick up some goodies at a local bakery. |
OP here. Excellent suggestions-thanks!
