"We were just talking about you" How to respond?

Anonymous
What is the appropriate response to this?
Anonymous
"All good things, I hope!"
Anonymous
"Wel that's nice" or "lucky me" but Said sincerely and without snark.

You say, "Nothing bad, I hope!" and then the person tells you the (hopefully) not-bad thing they were saying about you.

If it's not in a professional setting I usually joke and say "Don't believe a word of it!" Usually they'll respond with the gist of what they were saying. If it's a more formal setting, I just smile pleasantly.

"How flattering."
Anonymous
"only the bad parts are true!"

"that grilled cheese thing? All true!"
Anonymous
"uhhh..... just remembered somewhere I have to be..."
