I feel like I've been sitting in front of this computer screen for twenty years.

I like my job. I like the people I do it with. I've been doing it for longer than any other job I've held, and wow, am I feeling burnt out. Someone please tell me it's because it's suddenly summery outside.

First of all, the monitors are much better than they were 20 years ago. At least it is is not a CRT. (I was so excited with my first flat monitor circa 2003).

Second, 20 years ago, you were probably not in front of the computer, but rather, the tower was either on the floor or off to the side.

Finally, sitting in front of the computer today pays your bills so you can play on Sat
