Potomac ES?

We are considering starting our rising Kindergartener with mild, undiagnosed ADHD at Potimac Elementary School this Fall. We would be walking in the door with an IEP. Does anyone have recent experience with Potomac ES? DD has been at a small preschool with teachers using every best practice possible and DD has made great progress there. I really want DD to be able to handle a mainstream public school environment and all specialists that work with her think she can do it but I am scared. Will the academics be challenging enough for her bright mind? At the same time, will the teacher, who will have about 23 kids, be able to help DD with social facilitation? Will DD get the individual help she needs with fine motor skills? And if those things don't happen, will DD regress? I'd love any thoughts you can share. DH thinks I am not giving DD enough credit but I just want to do what I can to keep her progressing in a confident way. And I just am not sure if a large public school environment is going to be a good thing or not. Thank you for your input!

No experience with having an ADHD kid there, but, I can tell you that the kindergarten teaching team is extremely strong at Potomac. If it remains the same, you don't need to worry that your daughter will end up with an unkind or uncaring or incompetent teacher. Those ladies are great!

My ADHD child went there a few years ago. He also had an IEP plan. The teachers and special ed staff were terrific to work with. They will make a solid plan and implement it.
