Laser hair removal - has the price come down?

Anonymous
I'm an ideal candidate for laser hair removal, except that I'm a little cheap. Has the price come down as the technology matures and it gets more common?

I have a reveal medspa near my house... are they reputable for this sort of thing?

it's expensive, it doesn't last forever and nobody knows the long term complications.
i'll stick to my honey wax

sorry i didn't help, just thinking out loud here...

I don't know if prices have come down, but 14:16 is missing out. I had laser hair removal 5 years ago, and it has lasted so far without issue.

when i was working in southern maryland i got 6 sessions for about $125. I know that was an exceptional price though. I have to say, that while i have noticed some hair reduction, 6 sessions didn't completely solve the problem (especially once i got pregnant and got a little hairier). I'm also Sicilian though, and I was starting off with quite a bit of hair to remove. For that price I would continue in the future, but I'm not sure I want to drive down there anymore just for that.

FWIW, its a lot less painful than waxing, and I think with some more sessions it would yeild better results. Also, winter is the best time to do it, because you're not supposed to go in the sun after treatments.

Has anyone bought one of those home laser hair removal devices (Tria and Silk'n) -- and did it work?

To the poster who got 6 sessions for $125-- what areas were you getting done?
