Hi, I am not trying to be funny.
My vagina sweats and I am not happy about it at all. I clean myself regularly and make sure that I am dry. The other day my husband said there is an odor (this was about a couple of hours after I had taken a bath and we had made love)...I couldn't smell anything but I do know that I sweat down there...especially now that it's hot. What can I do? |
| Your husband sweats down there to. Maybe he's not trying hard enough to find out just how he smells? -And you are too polite to tell him? Does he have any other OCD issues? Maybe if you avoided love-making there wouldn't be that odor that he doesn't like. Ask him. |
| Try dusting with cornstarch after the bath. You can buy baby cornstarch or just use regular kitchen cornstarch. Trust me. It works. |
| If you are using body wash on that area, you may want to use regular old deoderant soap instead. The body washes out there have gotten so moisturizing that I wonder if they really clean anymore. |

If this is the first time that he's mentioned an odor, you might want to make sure you don't have a bacterial infection. It might not have anything to do with sweating.
Years ago I noticed an odor that wasn't typical for me and it turned out I had a mild infection... no other symptoms but odor. |
| You can also put anti-perspirant where your thighs meet your body (not in the vagina). This area tends to get sweaty. |

Your vagina itself does not have sweat glands, OP. The vagina does have its own lubrication, and perhaps that is what he is smelling. As another poster said, it shouldn't smell "off" unless maybe you have an infection?
If you just tend to be someone who oozes a lot of lubrication, you could also consider wearing a tampon during foreplay. |
| Are you sure PP? I'm pretty sure mine sweats too. Especially after I go running...its pretty obvious. |
