River School?

I was wondering what others thought of The River School. It seems like a warm and nurturing place, but I would love to know more.

Thanks. I did look it up, but there wasn't much there - and only one reply from someone whose children attended the school.

did you try the archives from the original site. might be more there. i remember reading mostly very positive things about it. have heard it's great but expensive!

Good school and expensive, but I hear they don't advocate for your child if you wish to apply to other schools cos they
want you to stay until 3d grade. kinda sucks, what if i want to move him in a year or two?

It is an absolutely wonderful place. The kids are so engaged in so much learning at a very young age. The teachers get to know them so well--the written evaluations they write are incredible. Our DD left last year to go to the same school as her sister and I wish we had stayed at River School--highly recommend it!
