Menopause Doc Through Kaiser

Can anyone recommend a Kaiser doctor who specializes in menopause? Has any been helped by a Kaiser doctor as they went through menopause? I saw a doctor (non Kaiser) who was a certified menopause practitioner through the North American Menopause Society a few years ago. She was great but our insurance changed. I called Kaiser and that wasn't helpful. They said everyone was trained in menopause but I am looking for someone who is current on treatments and this is one of their specialities.

I haven't had a period since July and my symptoms are getting very hard to live with.

Any referrals would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Where are you located? I'd wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Julie Ambrose @ the Tyson's Corner Center. She's your typical OB/GYN, but I've seen her for multiple hormonal issues and she's been great. She really listens to the patient - if you are the wait and see type, that's fine by her, or if you would rather try medications/therapies, she's all for that, too. Runs on time and is super professional, but warm.
