| in Bethesda by the medical buildings? How long can you park and what are the rates? I usually have a baby with me so cannot just walk over and check and I'm tired of paying the parking fees for all the docs in those buildings who do not validate. |
| I believe it's up to 2 hours and the rates are definitely less than the lot. Can't park there before 9 AM, though. It often takes less time than searching for a parking space in the lot. Last I checked it was coins only, so bring change just in case it's still like that. |
PARKING AT OUR BETHESDA OFFICE At our Bethesda location there are three options for parking: surface, multilevel garage and street metered parking. To expedite your arrival at the Bethesda office we recommend you park in the multilevel garage due to the shortage of surface parking spaces. The parking ticket you receive when entering the premises will also provide access to the parking garage. Parking is managed by Colonial Parking and we do not validate for parking. The fee for parking is $2 per one-half hour, up to a maximum of $10 per visit. ONLY CASH IS ACCEPTED. Metered street parking is available from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The cost is 60¢ per hour and the meter accepts nickels, dimes and quarters. |
This is about downtown Bethesda and had nothing to do with what OP is asking. |
Actually I copied this from my Derm office website which is off Rockledge, but thanks for piping in. |

09:01 here. This information is correct, according to my experience. |
| This is OP. I was asking because I have an early morning procedure and was hoping to save some money with the meters but obviously I can't if there's no parking before 9. The one thing that's not accurate in the derm office info is that you can pay the parking kiosk with credit cards. There's always a long line of befuddled senior citizens trying to figure them out. Thanks all pps. |
| If you park in the lot for that medical complex, credit cards are accepted as well as cash. |
And if you screw up and forget to pay for parking, the exits where you actually leave allow payment by credit cards. No cash accepted at that point though. |
| Pretty sure the metered parking on the street is available for at least 4 hours. |
I love you and thanks for chiming back in to that know-it-all! |
| Thanks for asking OP. I have the same question. |
