BCC and Whitman - Open Houses? Visiting Campus?

We live near BCC but are considering a move to the Whitman district. Son is in 7th grade. My wife and I would like to visit the school campuses and see which one we like better. Do these schools have open houses for prospective students/parents? Can we get a tour? Anyone with a child at either willing to volunteer to tour? Thanks!

I don't know if either school offers tours, though I can tell you that the PTA for our BCC-cluster elementary school does offer tours, which can be arranged by calling the school. So, I'd suggest you call the BCC and Whitman offices to inquire about tours of those schools. Alternatively, all MCPS schools host Open Houses on Columbus Day. While these are primarily designed to give parents and grandparents of current students a chance to visit, I know some schools, including Westland MS which feeds into BCC, have allowed prospective parents to attend.
