I received a text message from ct9@urdoc.us today. The text reads "Center for Women's Health is going live with Athena Health May 20th. Please arrive 20 minuets prior to your appt. time. [phone number]
ReplySTOPoptout" Is this a new spam thing? I've never heard of center for women's health and I don't have an appointment with them. The phone number listed in the message has the same area code as my cell phone number, which isn't local. I plan on blocking them, and I haven't replied, but has anyone gotten anything similar? |
| It's very likely spam, given the misspellings and the fact you don't have any appointment with them. Don't reply as then they'll have confirmation they have a live number. Block away. |
| I got one from another imaging center about an appointment. It was just an error by a receptionist who confused two names. They texted my number instead of their current patient. Freaked me out because they referred to me by name and I had tests previously at that site. A phone call fixed everything and they were grateful because they still needed to confirm with the current patient. |

| I just received the same kind of text message letting me know of an appt I had at 10am on Thurs. They didn't have my name correct (not the spelling-but my name)...I deleted it and did not reply but not I'm upset that I didn't block them first! |
