Beta not doubling

Ladies I need some encouragement. My 1st beta was on Monday and I was told it was a great beta. It was 381. Today I went in for my 2nd beta and it was only 445. My nurse sounded worried and discouraged and very gently prepared me for a possible miscarriage since it didn't double. I go back in on Friday. Any encouraging stories or advice that this can still be a viable pregnancy? I am worried and sick to my stomach right now.

How many dpo or dpt are you? That first beta is very high. It's possible it's a vanishing twin. Or just a hiccup in growth.

1st beta was at 12dp5dt so 17dpo I guess? Today was 14dpt5dt so 19dpo. I am praying it is something of that sort (vanishing twin). We did put 2 blasts back so I'm wondering if its that. I'm just so super scared and worried that our first and only pregnancy could in badly. Any support or advice you guys can give is more than greatly appreciated.

That would be my guess, but unfortunately you'll just have to wait and see. I have seen some weird beta patterns that resulted in healthy babies, so keep on hoping. . .

OP here...ladies my beta came back at 813 today. Nurse said I am back on track. I am excited and yet still so nervous. I feel like it should still be higher.

how many DPO today? Just as an example, my first beta at 14 DPO was at 334, second at 16 DPO was at 848 and last at 18 DPO was at 1929 - I am currently 7w4d pregnant and had 2 u/s and saw heartbeat on both.

Past pregnancy data: 1st beta at 14 DPO = 136
2nd @ 17 DPO = 536
3rd @ 19 DPO = 1240

Both had/has only one embryo and first one ended in miscarriage at 8w3d.

OP here. I am 16dp5dt today. So I guess 21 dpo.
