And those AAP centers need to be a thing of the past. I hope they address that at some point. AAP centers are the very definition of inequity at this point. DP |
Take some screen shots now. |
+100 What an incredible waste of time and money. |
Yup, do it ASAP because they are getting ready to lock that page (you can see that they lock pages on their website) |
Already did |
Leave the high schools alone. Take care of Coates. I'm not familiar with Parklawn situation. Maybe, fix it, too. Done. |
DP. This is exactly how I feel about certain posters on this thread who were aggressively insisting that certain neighborhoods should be moved. I've always advocated for no one's boundary to be changed, but I sincerely hope the people I'm talking about found themselves among those moved. Karma, etc. |
No one is faulting them for advocating. The issue is that they are taking over the online feedback for other regions on the other side of the county, depriving those families of their opportunity to have their concerns and feedback heard. No one would blink an eye if they were attending their own Region meeting and doing this, or going in person to a neighboring Region. But to go online to a Region meeting for schools on the opposite end of the county, and taking over that meeting so the only feedback elevated is their neighborhood is a whole different thing. The feedback opportunities are limited. It is so rude of them to take away the feedback opportunities from families on the other side of the county. |
Huh? Langley didn't insert itself into changing *other people's* boundaries. |
Exactly. |
100% agree. Langley families were really helpful, actually. |
DP. Once again: Langley only spoke up about the area within ITS boundaries. It never tried hijacking meetings about OTHER SCHOOLS and their boundaries. You seem very confused. |

+1 Sounds like that would be absolutely fair to do considering the way this group monopolized a meeting that wasn't even about their area. |
No one has been moved at this point, but feel free to pat yourself on the back even harder. |
