Any recommendations?
I am mostly looking for companionship. Female, 42, one child (DD,7) and she is with me most of the time. |
|
Try Bumble - you're in control. Tinder and OKC are okay Guy, 48, divorced, kids. |
| I'm 36, divorced, with 2 little kids and I'd love to meet someone new...maybe even remarry at some point. Any suggestions? |
What about the single dads at kid events? |
|
I had tried both OKC and Match. both were good as I did meet many fabulous women from all walks of life.
Match ultimately worked the best for me b/c of the better filtering system - so I could restrict the search options for single/divorced moms and w/in a certain radius from home. Besides, it was through Match that I met my 2nd wife. |

13:16 - there aren't many single dads at kid's events, in my experience. When kids are young, many couples are still either happily married or staying in it till the kids are older. And you're more likely to see the other moms at those things than you are to see single dads.
Online dating is probably the best way for single parents to meet other single parents. (unfortunately the only single dads I meet are the ones dating my child-free friends because my child-free friends have more flexible schedules for dating a guy with partial custody.) |

I've actually had the best luck on Tinder, believe it or not. I've tried OkC and Match as well.

I extremely DON'T recommend using anything free. You get what you pay for.
Signed, single mom divorcing the husband she met on OKC, because he continued to use OKC after they were married. |
He would rather divorce than stop using it? Why is it online guys have a hard time keeping off date sites after they meet someone? They whine they are single meet a girl but continue using the site? |
