Just use a picture that comes with the frame from Michaels. Probably better looking in any case.

HaHa. I know someone who did that! Some people don't do pictures of family. They do a picture of a pet, vacation place, etc. Others don't do anything because they don't want picture frames on their desk.

Not weird. I've been st my company for 10 years and just now thinking of putting up pics of family for when I go back to work from maternity leave.

No. I don't keep pics at my desk.

If I want to look at my family, I can open my wallet or phone.

After 30 years I don't have a desk. I have a long table with a bunch of other developers in an open room. We are not allowed to have personal items.

This is what office life is becoming

Happily married mom here who refuses to put family pictures in my office. My male co-workers all have them, though.

I do have some nice art up, though.

While one of the men in my office was in a meeting, his wife came in with all of these framed wedding pictures and placed them all over his desk. I thought it was funny...like she was marking her territory. He came back from his meeting and was mortified. I felt bad for him. She is crazy, and they ended up divorcing.

I've never had a non temporary office. As a consultant, they generally throw us at folding tables and makeshift cubes in the basement
