My point is there is corruption in this admin and to call out pp singling out the Dems. You’re reading too fast. Including the one above. We’re on the same side. 😉 |
Cognitive dissonance prevents fancy upper middle class Democrats from clearly seeing their pwn party’s policies. If they think if themselves as the most classy, intelligent, and MORAL people in the country, specifically because they are Democrats, they can’t really process the darker side of their party’s attempts to “prevent hate” via EARLY childhood exposure to sexual preference and gender fluidity themes. The Fairfax County and Loudon County schoolboards are hotbeds of this push. Most well-meaning liberal ed school grad think it’s essential. An early intervention to prevent later transphobia. Oh look, here’s Karl Frisch being sworn in to the Fairfax County schoolboard on a stack if gay porn for kids. Lots of blue cities and suburbs have policies or even laws helping schools transition kids behind their parents backs, let teachers and school nurses give kids new names and pronouns, etc. The Biden administration was all about “gender affirming care.” Normal hi-falutin Dems don’t quite understand what that means other than “being nice,” but trans activists and profiteering doctors know all about the puberty-blocking hormones and underage sex change surgeries. It’s a dark push, and it certainly isn’t coming from Republicans, but “centrist” Dems say it isn’t happening. Oh look, here’s Biden’s health czar “Rachel” Levine caught pushing for underage sex changes. Huh. Some Dems work very hard at this stuff, others have no idea it’s happening, and rationalize away the small bits that do reach their attention. |
You’re either a bot or stupid if calling it a war “against” Russia. In the 90s after the dissolution of the USSR, we were part of a deal to get Ukraine to return nuclear weapons to Russia in return for their independence. Russia is the country breaking the agreement. I can understand varying opinions as to how much support we owe Ukraine at this point in time, but to side with Russia and call Zelensky a dictator is horrific. The only reason for the U.S. to do this is if there are ties to Russia that we don’t fully grasp yet. |
Yes, we're on the same side and I'm calling out the awfulness of Dem Party leadership or the lack thereof that has created a pathway for two Trump presidential terms to occur. Why? Because we can't control what the idiot MAGA people do during the Trump era but we should have some say in making sure the Dem party is functioning well enough to make sure awful and weak opponents can't win. The GOP is in the process of handing us another easy victory in 2028 just as they did in 2020. If we take that victory with another lowly Joe Biden, we will just be setting ourselves up for failure in 2032. What we can control is making sure another Joe Biden isn't the 2028 Dem nominee. |
In Trump’s first term he cut health care, food and housing programs and labor protections for poor and working-class Americans. That doesn’t sound at all like a kind, compassionate party of labor. |
So funny to hear the GOP and Dem sheep arguing over which major party cares less about regular Americans. It should be obvious to all you all by now that leaders of both major parties don't give a rat's poop about you, me or any other person that isn't a wealthy mega-donor. This is actually not funny to hear. You people need to grow up and start reconsidering your loyalties to these awful PRIVATE and replaceable political entities. |
Democrats are seen as more generous with welfare and programs for the deeply poor, Republicans are seen as better for the working poor and middle classes. Workers wan’t better wages (not higher minimum wages, better wages a step or two up from minimum wage). They want less offshoring, less wage suppressing immigration, etc. Dems are the party of welfare and public sector unions (almost the only ones left). Neither of those areas of Dem largesse actually help the private sector working or middle classes. That’s one reason why those private sector workers are voting Republican these days. It’s not just that they are stupid. The other part of the disconnect is that Dems are remembering their old party which was a better friend to labor than the modern one. |
I’ve never seen someone referring to others as “sheep” who wasn’t one of the flock themselves. |
You are speaking as if it is 2012. In 2025, there may be handful of politicians in Congress that truly give a damn about the poor and middle classes but that's it. Otherwise, if you aren't a mega-donor, your interests don't meet diddly squat to our GOP and Dem politicians in Congress. Sorry, I know this truth hurts. |
So, things like trying to enact a rule allowing employers to pocket their workers’ tips, blocking minimum wage increases, and denying overtime pay to millions of low wage workers, these are things that are seen as better for the private sector working poor and middle class? I feel like we’re in Opposite Land here. |
At a certain point, we have to stop just telling ourselves we’re “the workers’ party” and just ASK workers why they vote Republican. |
Because Republican messaging is effective. Even if theyre lying and dumbing it down. it works for their party. Its outrageous. |
Oh they also are the Grand Old Gaslighters |
So long as Democrats convey to working class people that they think they are stupid, don’t understand their own situations, and are basically idiots, Democrats will continue to lose the working class to Republicans. |
I think it’s more likely that Russian operatives will hack sites like this and give IP addresses of the anti MAGA posters to their allies in the US than MAGA fans will admit they were wrong. |
